Notice of Aerial Larval Control Application
The Norfolk County Mosquito Control District will be conducting helicopter applications of the biorational larvicide Bti (Bacillus thuringiensis israelensis) to control mosquito larvae. These applications will be conducted over specific large wetlands in the Town of Wrentham. These applications will be conducted over a likely 2 to 4 day window, lasting only 2 days, anytime between April 18, 2024, and April 30, 2024. As always, the weather in the spring is unpredictable. For this reason, the District cannot pin down actual application dates with any more accuracy at this time. We will send out further notices as the application date approaches. The Annual Keep Wrentham Beautiful event will be held on April 27, 2024 from 9AM to 4PM. Bags may be picked up and dropped off at the Senior Center. Help make Wrentham a cleaner, greener place to live work and play!
National DEA Medication Take Back Day
National DEA Medication Take Back Day is taking place Saturday, April 27 from 9am to 12pm at Wrentham Public Safety Building, behind 79 South Street (Town Hall). Items accepted: Tablets, pills, lotions, patches, liquids. This "Drive-in and Drop" event is co-sponsored by Town of Wrentham and SAFE Coalition.
Unwanted Household Items Collection Day
Junk Dunkers will be collecting unwanted household items such as appliances, mattresses, and furniture at the Wrentham Senior Center, 400 Taunton Street on Saturday, May 4, 2024 from 9a.m. to 1p.m. (Rain date is May 18 from 9am to 1pm). Cash or Credit Card accepted for payment. This event is exclusively for Wrentham residents and is brought to you by the Wrentham DPW.

Wrentham Recreation Presents - ChiRunning Workshop with Marc Waxman
Wrentham Recreation is thrilled to partner with Marc Waxman, renowned Master ChiRunning Instructor, for this 2 night ChiRunning Workshop April 25th & May 9th. Runners of all abilities will benefit from this workshop. You will practice running drills and exercises designed to help you instill the technique in your body. You can also expect to learn good body mechanics, relaxation and breathing techniques, and ways to prevent fatigue, gain speed, and improve endurance. Learn more here.

The Annual Town Meeting will be held at King Philip Regional Highschool on Monday, June 3, 2024 starting at 7PM.

The Zoning Board of Appeals is seeking interested volunteers to join! There are currently 3 (three) vacancies, 2 (two) full members and 1 (one) associate members. The Zoning Board of Appeals is the permit granting authority in Wrentham. They have the authority to hear and decide petitions for appeals of zoning orders and decisions made by the Building Commissioner, variances with respect to land or structures, Special Permits for certain projects as allowed for in the Zoning By-laws, and Comprehensive Permits under Chapter 40B of the Massachusetts General Laws. If you have any questions, please feel free to contact the Select Board or Land Use Offices.
There are 2 (two) vacancies on the Wrentham Commission on Disability. Members serve a 2 year staggered term and the Commission has a total of 5 members.
