By June 2023, the Town of Wrentham had received $42,528 from the Massachusetts Opioid Abatement Settlement Fund. These funds were provided through settlements with opioid manufacturers and distributors.

With the assistance of the Opioid Advisory Group, an online application was created for the community to use to apply for Opioid funds. The application was published on the Town website. There was a press release issued and postings on social media.

The following groups applied and were awarded $42,000 in funds after July 1, 2023:

SAFE Coalition $10,000

Gilly's House $10,000

Healthy KP Substance Use Prevention Coalition $7,000

Trinity Episcopal Church $4,500

Wrentham and KP School Wellness Programs $10,500
